Sophia | 19 | Games Art and Design Student|
Hi there, I'm Sophia and I'm from the UK. Right now, I'm doing a Games Art and Design degree! I have a wide range of skills in both traditional and digital media but I mainly explore and develop my digital painting techniques, especially in landscape and environment design.
I'm also really into anime and cosplaying, and handling at dog shows. I travel around quite bit a bit so I try to draw from the varied world that I see.
Please feel free to ask me about my work, commissioning or anything in general!
Find me on:
New month, new journal – as always! A bit later than before but that’s for a good reason
I handed in my first ever submission at uni today, it was far too nice and easy. As in... *drag* *drop* *leave*. That’s all we had to do – drag and drop our folders. Then we technically didn’t leave, you had to make note of your folder size, go talk to the lecturer and check it had uploaded correctly. But otherwise – FAR TOO NICE.
My submissions before involved like 200 sketchbooks, crying and remembering what everything in the space of 5 minutes. All the while, you had a teacher screaming at you. SO a massive contrast!!
My submission was okay though. Loads of people were pulling all nighters and some still hadn’t completed their work on time, so I had it much easier than some people. I had everything all finished and put into PDFs Wednesday night. So I played Stein’s Gate for most of the time~
Hooray for smooth hand ins!!
I have an essay due in for next Friday, but I’m going home tomorrow. I’ll just do it while I’m at home~ Probably going on how games crossover the 7 basic plots more than other forms of storytelling. Not too sure though...
Anyway, I don’t have much else to say so... I’m leaving it here. I’ll see if I can bap out some fan art or something while I have a small break, but it depends.
